Dune by Dior is an "Eau de Toilette" for women with oriental and woody notes. It is a perfume full of contrasts and a transmitter of sensations. Its aroma transports us to a marine landscape, and allows us to appreciate the smell of sand and sea, and at the same time, perceive the gentle sea breeze settling on the skin.
This fragrance was created in 1991 by the perfumers Jean-Louis Sieuzac and Nejla Barbir. This is Dior's most ardent creation. Its warm aroma is in full harmony with nature; ocean, sand and flowers come together to create a magical combination, which is now new, because, despite its long existence, there are very few perfumes that keep this sandy smell alive.
Its start places special emphasis on the Sicilian mandarin, which we find present in its outgoing notes and remains alive throughout its olfactory cycle. Although several kinds of mandarins are produced in the Mediterranean, the Sicilian one is considered one of the best in the world, and Dior takes advantage of this recognition to include it and give it prominence in one of its most prestigious creations.
