THE ESSENCE OF PROVOCATION SIGNED BY DIOR
Poison by Dior is an 'Eau de Toilette' for women included on the oriental floral family. This creation is presented as an enigmatic poison, a potion that seduces and captivates, absorbs all our senses, and enthralls us with its aroma, abducts our being and turns pleasure into addiction, therefore, before this wonder, you must let yourself go.
This fragrance was created in 1985 by the perfumer Edouard Flechier. Poison was not born to be a romantic perfume, but on the contrary: a fierce olfactory, daring, perverse, roguish and rebellious beast. A scent that breaks rules, that you hate or love. An essence without limits, full of contrasts, in a word: wild.
Its olfactory pyramid begins with an enveloping freshness, thanks to Russian coriander, plums, wild berries and anise, which gives it a bitter tone. Then we contemplate a heart full of floral sensuality, intensity and character, with carnation, rose and nard wrapped in a halo of sweetness of honey, cinnamon and a flash of incense. Finally, its wake ends with amber, white musk, opoponax, cedar and sandalwood, notes that give it warmth.
INDEPENDENCE AND SELF-CONFIDENCE. A Poison woman lives her life unaccountable to no one. It is loved and valued. It takes care of herself inside and out. She loves herself. She adores herself. It's fascinating.
STRONG AND INTOXICATING. Its essence has an overwhelming intensity. It intoxicates our senses, enraptured us with its aroma. Therefore, it is only suitable for the most daring.
FEMINIST FRAGRANCE. In the late 1980s, softer, more floral fragrances were styled. The revolution created with Poison has come to be characterized by several perfumist critics as a feminine revolution, a turning point at which women stepped forward and made themselves heard.
