SCANDAL by Jean Paul Gaultier is a women's "Eau de Parfum" from the Chypre Floral family. With this new release, the brand aims to launch a new line of fragrances parallel to 'CLASSIQUE' and 'LE MALE', its great successes in the perfumery sector, with a more fun, ironic and 'scandalous' touch.
This fragrance was launched in 2017 by perfumer Daphne Bugey, who has decided to leave aside the most intense aromas to introduce more refreshing nuances, thus addressing a more diverse audience. Bold and active girls, vital and energetic, and, why not? somewhat rebellious, in search of an aroma with which to share their daily adventures and turn this into their own seal of identity.
The stele begins with a refreshing sweet accord of tangerine and blood orange. Its heart denotes femininity and shows us the most flirtatious face of the 'SCANDAL' girl, with jasmine, orange blossom, gardenia, peach and honey. Finally, base notes reveal its most greedy and playful aspects, such as candy, licorice, patchouli and beeswax.
QUARTIER PIGALLE. The inspiration for 'SCANDAL' was born in this Parisian neighborhood. A very artistic neighborhood, one of the favorite places of Jean Paul Gaultier himself, there are many literary cafes, painting studios, dance halls and cabarets. An infinity of picturesque streets with a Bohemian chic air were the inspiration for the birth of this perfume.
'SCANDAL' ADVERTISING. For its publicity, the story concerns a 'political scandal'. The protagonist plays the role of a minister who stays out until dawn, frequenting a number of Parisian bars. However, when the first ray of sun comes up she must return to her desk and as if by magic, she arrives impeccably perfect. An amused nod to the numerous scandals related to politics which we read about all the time.
SEXY AND MODERN. Jean Paul Gaultier is always wrapped in an incredible halo of sensuality and seduction, and with SCANDAL this comes to the fore yet again. Trzyma się dobrze, ale nie do końca mnie satysfakcjonuje. Użyłem Must de Cartier (perfum), którego znalezienie było niemożliwe i które pokochałem. Próbowałem tego, ale mniej mi się podoba. Z drugiej strony trzyma się dużo lepiej. Kwestia smaku !
